I have a Snap-Change system that I use in a Sharp mill with a CNC
conversoin. The Snap-Change unit is very repeatable and fairly simple to
use. It also holds the tool as close to the spindle as a standard R-8
endmill holder does, giving good rigidity. I recently made an additional 30
tool holders for it, as the ones from Snap-Change seem a bit pricey also.
It's easy to do if you have a CNC lathe.
