Hi,
1) Yes. Take the +5VDC power supply ground, the encoder ground and a
470 ohm resistor to "ENC-" on the G320. The other end of the resistor
goes to "ENC+". This is because the G320 expects to see a load on
that terminal. The power supply +5VDC goes to the encoder +5VDC.
Everything should work OK then.
2) This is a bit of a problem. I think I remember the circuit you are
talking about. I had it posted in the "files" section of the group
under the "circuits" folder. It is no longer there and since the
Yahoo switchover, I am no longer able to edit or add to this folder.
I did a quick search of my hard drives and haven't found it there
either yet. I may have deleted it.
If the original recipient doesn't have it to share, I would have to
redraw it, which is a bit of a hassle. Let me know.
