The glass beads are highly abrasive and get into everything
Its a really nasty stuff and not any xy table will last longer then a
few weeks.
But what about using a plotter that puts a rubber paint (like for roofs)
(anything hard gets worn by the beads, but rubber not)
on the glass. And then you make standard glass blasting.
Small trick instead of steel or tungsten jets use nylon or rubber jets.
They are much cheaper and last the same as steel.
