Buck,

I used to cut the end mills in half with a Dremel. Of course this isn't
always an option as you sometimes need to stick an end mill way out.
I solved this by adapting a Sherline spindle/DC motor to my Max, and use
the thread-on tool holders.
The adapter isn't something I could mfg cheap enough on a CNC knee mill,
so I'm thinking about trying to redesign it and make it a doable
product. The difference is better than night and day.
