Jerry,
To keep it simple. First if you are going to run G code to control your
system in a cnc environment, you will need a program like CncPro or the
ahha system to read the G code and send the proper signals to the Gecko
drivers.
.If you are already using Vector CAD/CAM for another machine and you are
using CncPro, then you should not need another postprocessor.
A postprocessor is simply a translator. It takes the internal cam files and
translated them into the proper G code for the controller that you are
using.
Changing drives or motors has nothing to do with the postprocessor.
