Thanks to Bob Campbell, Tim Goldstein, and Fred Smith for their
comments on Post Processors. I'm glad that post processors are
pretty much un-needed now that some advancements have been made
in the past 20 years when I first heard about post processors.
It really makes no sense to me to have a cascade of programs from
drawing to motor driver.

I guess at this point, I'm not sure about the controller
attributes. I guess a controller is essentially an electronic
router that sends the processed G-code to each motor driver. I
assume controller functions can be done by a plug in board in the
computer mother board or by a computer program that outputs thru
the parallel port. I assume from what Fred said that the CAM
functions of Vector do this without any add-on computer board.

In any case, I thank all of you for your replies.
