Depends on how "efficient" your axis are, I run a 8'x10' gantry type cnc
machine, and it only has 330 oz-inch steppers! I agree there are alot of
factors to consider, it is best to ask the experts.... Are you using
precision leadscrews / guild-rails, type of drive ( power, voltage, ect.) ,
feedrates to achieve, material cutting.......
