oops typo ,I ment M06
but I'm gona have to stick with lathes not using it

the canned cycles may not be "standardized" but they are
used pretty much the same way on all lathes , much like the
"standard" drilling and boring canned cycles on mills

yes the LS7166 and LS7266 chips can be configured ro reset the counter
on the index pulse its just a matter of setting the chips internal control
registers to do it
