First of all I agree with your last statement about the group. I have

work from the top with your remarks and remember these are my
opinions and experiances NOT irelevant stuff. It's only through
hearing others views that you can make up your own mind about a
product.
Firstly remember that to a lot of people on this group, which is a
hobby group after all, money is important. Also most of the people on
this list run a mill first, lathe second.
My observation was that $2000 for mill + $2000 for lathe is probably
a bit steep for most folk and at $4000 you are getting into comparing
against full programs such as Mastercan and Featurecam.
Secondly I then pointed out, quite truthfully my experiances with
Capsmill.
Cadem then wrote back virtually accusing me of running their sofware
illegally on a dongle I should have returned. I think I answered that
fully and correctly. They still didn't answer the fact that they are
broadcasting worldwide certain copyrighted drawings that they have no
right to use.
I agree it's petty and I didn't want to get into an argument with
anyone over it, just point out experiances.
As I don't use their products there is no point in carring on with
this so as far as I'm concerned I'll say no more about it,
I may even down load a demo to see what it's like at the side of the
package I have, - if they let me on the web site [grin ]
