I did enjoy CapsTURN but I finally decided to go with OneCNC Mill &
Lathe software. OneCNC Lathe was on special this week and was being
sold for $1000. Their manual is excellent and has numerous tutorials.

So my choice for mill & lathe software are:
Mill - OneCNC for parts - Cimagrafi for engraving, etc.
Lathe - OneCNC

I evaluated just about every software package under the sun that had
a demo version. OneCNC was one of the easiest and nicest looking
(they used many Microsoft Windows application standards).

Just my 2 cents.
