Hi Smoke,

I think your assertion is only correct as long as the range to the target is
also constant. I believe if the barrel is bent say to the left and the rifle
is zeroed in to be accurate at 100 yds it will shoot left at greater ranges.
If its bent up or down the range scale on the sights will be inaccurate at
greater ranges.
