Hi Chris,
I think they want to use a DC motor as a STEPPER, not a servo. And if
they are running out of funds to buy a stepper, then they are unlikely
to want to buy a G340 driver.

Why not check out the surplus sources on the web for steppers? What are
your needs? What are you building?
Perhaps a few donations are in order? How about it guys? What's the
postage to the Philippines?
