This is good info, but I still have to be a Linux guru to understand what the instructions are and to cary them out.

I also checked the RTL site & am satisfied that you are correct on this one.

I am assured that it can be done, so the question is: Is EMC a tool to recruit Linux converts or a tool to enable CNC machine designers, builders, and hobbyists, whatever OS they are capable of stumbling through?

(Don't take that wrong, I'm just having fun here.) ;-)
