Hi Fred
You bring one of these "dumpster spec" PCs to NAMES along with a couple of
Win boxes with networking configured and working - I'll bring a BDI CD (and a
few other toys), and we will show you how to install a black box system.
It will make for a usefull demonstration on installing EMC the easy way, and
you get a pre-configured computer. If you also bring a hub and a few CAT5
cables, the remote GUI caould also be installed and demo'd.
A recommended minimum spec would be 200Mhz+ with 32Meg of RAM and a 1Gig
drive. Video is unimportant for the purpose of installing and running a
remote UI. A 3COM or RealTeK network card would be prefered, and please try
and avoid the SiS chipsets - I have problems with most of these !
Regards, Paul.
