While the Dolphin system does not directly support thread milling, I
have achieved it by 'using' one of the drilling cycles and the 'post
processor' functions in the Dolphin CAM system.
It works really well no matter how many threaded holes you want to
produce.
I have only done this for the Heidenhain control so far, but if you
were thinking of going down the Dolphin route I would be happy to
assist you in the post processor modifications required for a
different controller.
