Tony,
In that case then you have one of the best controllers as it already
has the thread milling command built into it.
Page 65 in the manual covers it.
A typical command would be:-

G14 I 0.25 K 0.1 L 20 F 10.0

This translates as G14, Clockwise helical interpolation
I 0.25 is radius set to 0.25"
K 0.1 is the pitch of the thread
L 20 is the number or threads or repeats
And F 10.0 is the circular feed

This is a simple, cheap thread mill made out of one segment from a
coventry die head. Just find one to match the pitch you need and
that's all there is to it
