I run two commercially and I think they are well worth it.
They have a better range of commands that other controllers in the
same or lower brackets. See the one previously on helical thread
milling. It's also the only decent controller that can run 4 axis
mill and lathe, including threading.
There are a lot of companies using this system 24/7 on machines right
up to big VMC's with servos and 36 tool changers.
It will run anything in the way of accesories, VFD control of spindle
speed, coolant , air/hydraulic clamping and any thing else you care
to add on via the 10 inputs, 16 outputs from the card.
It has it's own macro language for any often repeated items. I have
some keyway macro's that just require me to zero the tool and type in
the length of keyway.
It also has a very simple form of conversational programming called
Command Builder for things like bolt circles, pockets etc
