But unless I'm missing something this sounds like a CAM system.
I use a program called Dolphin and after you select your operations
like face milling, pocketing, area clear and drilling you see a
simulation of the part being cut.
You can go back as many times as you want and edit these operations
and see the altered simulation.
When this is to your liking you press Post and the code to produce
0ne or a thousand is produced.
Is this what you mean??
