Indexer LPT also has the capability to "learn" and "store" locations by
reading its current location when paused and then storing it to a text file.
Typically you can put a probe in the spindle and move to locations until it
"trips". Once tripped, the "automatic" write procedure is accomplished. At
least to my understanding of the manual. Programming examples are given there
However, the Motion Software has the capability, But, You would need to be a
programmer to use it. The current interfaces for it, do not implement the
feature.
