Using PC power supplies was Re: Black Box Goals

There are quite a few hobby systems using the pc power supply. Since
it has 5v and 12v available at fairly high amperages, it can work
well if speed is not too much an issue (steppers go faster with more
voltage). The std size supplies are used; i.e., 230w,300w, etc.

Most require that the 5v supply be used, or at least loaded, for the
supply to work.
