I'm thinking that he wants something that allows him to physically move the
machine (maybe by using a pendant or joystick) and store both the physical
moves, and perhaps the velocities as well, as a program that he can then use
to make duplicates.

It may be something like using TurboCNC in the jog mode to mill a piece, but
also allowing TurboCNC to store the moves (perhaps when a keystroke is hit)
as an "executable" file.

|But unless I'm missing something this sounds like a CAM system.
|I use a program called Dolphin and after you select your operations
|like face milling, pocketing, area clear and drilling you see a
|simulation of the part being cut.
|You can go back as many times as you want and edit these operations
|and see the altered simulation.
|When this is to your liking you press Post and the code to produce
|0ne or a thousand is produced.
