I'm no kind of electrical engineer- I'm a cheapscate! Proof: I just salvaged an AC motor from a neighbor's dumped washing machine and figured out which of the seven wires to connect together to make it run and not electrecute me or burn down my house.

Inquiring minds like mine would like to know what these transformers look like, (a) with the secondary identified, (b) with the secondary removed and (c)with a new secondary made from house wiring. Three pictures posted would be worth a lot more than a thousand words...
