If you are not looking to do heavy milling, you could
get a 90 deg head, make an adapter and you have
to use the Z to drill or bore.
alternatly, you could possibly make a top plate
and buy the vertical mill entire assembly,
ram, milling head, motor etc.
I assume that this puppy would cost about $500
as it sits, plus at least twice that for the
vertical mill head.
look further, you should be able to find a
bridgeport of similar for the same price.
well under $2,000.
