Hi group,

Currently have Enco mill/drill with 3 axis setup. 720 oz/in Sanyo
Denki motors direct drive, Gecko 201s, homebuilt powersupply box,
Kerk Motion Products zero-backlash 3/4" screws/plastic nuts. The BDI
EMC on an AMD450 PC for control, new BobCAD v18 for code generation.
In process is the GEM500 mill with most of the 4/5 axis bought parts
here now. Still lots to fab for the rotary sections, and need the
XYZ running first to make those parts. This will have 3/4"
ballscrews from McMaster-Carr, double nuts for backlash adjust, and a
counterweight on the Z for smooth motion. A VFD and 1.3HP motor are
waiting for install. All the CNC from the mill/drill will be
transferred to the GEM.
No CNC on the lathe,yet!
