I would advise those that are still confused about what we are trying to do
on this list, go back to about 3 months into the groups messages, and read
about 50, and continue to skip some and read another 50, do this a few times
and you will get a feeling about what this list is all about.
There is no way I can tell you in advance whether any given post is OT, until
I read it, and how it is written. If I ask it to be dropped, then please do
so. If you disagree, then write me personally, don't post your reply on the
list. Others will also be writing me. If I am wrong I will either change my
mind, or take a poll as has been done in the past.
But in any case the one thing that will not be changed is that the list is
strictly for the subjects, CAD,CAM(CNC),DRO, AND EDM . And always aimed at
the "Do It Your Self bunch" As long as your posts in that spirit, you will
have no problems.

If you want to post something and you are not sure, then send it to me, and I
will tell you Yes/ No, or what to change to make it OK.
Really guys this is not rocket science.
You will notice a thread going on now, about controls and typematic etc.
means nothing to me, but these guys are working out designs that will be
either shared with us, or one or two might make kits for the rest of us to
upgrade our machines.

By the way things for sale are allowed to be mentioned on the list. With the
following restrictions.
All sales off list.
No Catalogs, show a link to it.
All items listed to be something of help, to someone looking for things, that
will aid them in there project, steppers, ball screws, converted machines,
machines for conversion.
Other machinery not in this catagory belong somewhere else, not here. Sheet
medal benders, forklifts, I think you get the idea.
Now how do you get around the last restriction, make a good On Topic post and
include it on the last line.
