Hi Randy:
Why don't you turn up an adapter with the female 3/4 NF thread on one
end and the male 3/8 NF thread on the other?
Should be pretty simple to do, and you will get the best concentricity since
you can mount the adapter to the spindle after you've bored the female
thread, and then turn the male thread in place.
