That could indicate a memory, timing or bus problem with your hardware.
Compiling the kernel tends to exercise the hardware somewhat more
extensively than running Wincrap. On boards where I've had that problem,
I've been successful by cutting back either the memory bus speed, the
cpu clock speed or both.

My preferred solution is to put in a new motherboard.
