Meneer, As I understand it, the terminal on the side of the
deskwinNC signal generator board that is labeled +5v is an output,
suitable for running the geckos. The diagram I have uses a 9 volt
wallwart for the 6-12volt dc input on the end of the board and leaves
the terminal labled +5v on the end of the board unused. I assume that
either the +5volts comes from the serial port and is separated at the
board or the board regulates the 6-12 volt input to 5v. I'm sure Dan
Mauch could shed some light on this as he sells the boards.
