That should be relatively straight-foreward, shouldn't it? I mean, 2*pi*R
times RPM should give inches per minute, and the lathe should always "know"
where the tool-tip (R) is, so just a matter of inverse-linear equation.
Rpm = x/R, where x is the factor that takes into account your desired sfpm
and 2*pi. Or did I get coolant splashed all over me (or am I all wet)?
