Just a side note, I put in an 8-bit register driving a ribbon cable header on
my universal stepper card so that an add-on module could produce 0-10 V
or other signal for a spindle VFD or other speed controller. So, I'd very
much like to have that feature fixed. I have some more hacking to do on
limit switches and such in EMC in relation to my mods to make the digital I/O
on my two PPMC products work, so I might pick at the spindle speed stuff
while I'm in there.

Then, the biggie is constant surface speed for lathes! I don't know if that
feature has EVER been part of EMC in any of its versions.
