When steppermod is started bin size is computed from max_velocity and
Input_scale. Normally steppermod is either a go or no-go kind of animal.
If it goes, it works fine. If it doesn't it will cause major problems
including reboot or BSOD (Black screen of death) because of a buffer overrun
in the real-time shared memory. Lower either value and it should go. BTW --
I have seen these kind of crashes trash the system and require a reload
'cause it just won't run right again.
with the setup of your PC. You might want to look at bogomips. They aren't
very meaningful but the value should be at least 2x the speed of your
processor.
