This is confusing. Steppermod.o takes less resources and will put out a
faster pulse stream than freqmod.o. I am running on a K6 500 (may be a
450) and using steppermod.o. With the same parameters as you have I am
moving at 120 ipm with the mouse responding just fine. Of course I am on
RedHat 5.2 without the resource suck of KDE.
