Yep. I use kwrite. Type that into a terminal window or right click on an
open part of the desktop select new, select link to application, name it
kwrite.kdelink or whatever, and put the word kwrite under the app to open on
the execute tab.

There should be an icon down on the bottom panel/bar that will open an
editor, kless I think. I don't use it.
