Yah!. Any plain bearing depends on oil being entrained. All you usually do
is give it oil. For example, engine bearings support thousands of PSI, with
oil seldom supplied to them at over 60-80 PSI. The oil is actually retained
in the load zone by the bearing's own dynamics.
