Hi Greg
One thing to keep in mind, if this matters to you. The x axis is a
right hand screw, while the y axis is a lefty. Have a look at your
mill, and I think you'll see.
You might not care, but this seems to be the normal convention when
it comes to milling machines. It means that you'll always turn
clockwise to push the table away from you.
Again, you might not mind which way the crank turns as long as your
table moves.

attacking my conversion from the other end first. I don't even own a
mill yet, but I'm working on the stepper motors and drivers to get
used to the hardware/software.
