60 Amps she said, and that's the smallest they'll do apparently. That'd run
my house quite happily with all are usual space heats and 24 lighting
conditions. :-)

No, my mum would go nuts if I suggested we swap the entire supply to three
phase, and there's no point either really. I'm going to call them again
tomorrow to find out exactly what they'd be doing to put three phase in,
which will probably mean some cable digging. I was stunned the people on the
phones knew what three phase was. The woman who quote me the £1K also knew
the most about it. One admitted to not really knowing whereas the other just
said 'No, there's definitely not an installation fee for that'. I need to
speak to an actual line engineer really.
