Here are some close matches (ie 2.5 amp range bipolar):
NEMA 17 1.60V 1.0A 20.8 oz*in (holding torques)
NEMA 17 1.60V 2.0A 37.5 oz*in
NEMA 23 1.80V 3.0A 55.2 oz*in
NEMA 23 1.60V 2.0A 117 oz*in
NEMA 23 2.20V 3.0A 139 oz*in
NEMA 23 2.10V 2.0A 180 oz*in
23 2.3A 253 oz*in Powermax II
NEMA 34 4.60V 2.0A 388 oz*in
NEMA 34 5.40V 2.0A 720 oz*in
NEMA 34 7.20V 2.0A 1053 oz*in (possibly too marginal, as 35/7.2 = 4.86)
In keeping with the rule of thumb (bipolar voltage = 5* .. to 25* the
motor voltage rating) it seems this is quite a range, but should bracket
your requirements.
As the stronger motors are more expensive (and you are on a budget), find the
theoretical torque you need then buy the motor that gives at least that torque!
