You can do a search on ebay for "API CMD-260" and you will
usually come up with a few. Some guy sells them by the ton. They
usually go for about $60.00 each, used. They are untested and you
get what you get, but will handle up to 80V, will microstep, and do
up to 8 amps I think. You can do a search on completed items and ask
the people who already bought some if they worked ok for them.

table to cnc? Anyone pushed their 2.5 amp cnc to the limit and want to
share your performance? Any help would be appreciated--just keep in mind
that I am on a tight budget and am no E.E. Here are the specs. on the Enco
slide table:
router or milling head (cutting steel would be nice), have a 60 i.p.m. rapid
and cut at around 10 i.p.m. minimum. By the way, xylotex suggested a nema
23 powermax II 253oz-in Bipolar motor (2.3 amps bipolar series). Thanks for
any replies.
