I assuemed that with steppers installed, power supply up and drivers
wired, that the person posting does not yet have a parallel breakout
card or a computer.
Since, by far the easiest way is to use the computer with free ware,
TurboCNC or the precurser to Master5 the quest is just to test things
now.
If one was to build any kind of electronic gozmo, all that would be
time wasted if the only stopping point was the breakouit card.
And if the breakout card were the barrier, I would look at a radio
shaQ pre-drilled and pre etched circuit board. one could easily
solder the leads from a hacked printer cable, and then solder wires
to the drives for testing.
