I needed a PIC to monitor teperature and wound up with an LM34.

If one was to monitor temperatures of the milling, would it be for
fun or could it be beneficial to try to do something with the
signal ?

Seems that a dull cutter will have the temperatures rising, but other
than the gee-wiz factor, is there any other use ?
