I purcheased John's manuals and he does offer a nice circuit and it
is simple.

in my searching around the web, there are more than a few that are in
the same category of simple and easy to do. John's circuit is not so
advanced that one cannot come up with something similar in a few web
searches.

Allegro offers chips that rival the professional boards by offering
microstepping.

Once you run a half step driver and a microstep driver, you won't go
back.

since John has requested that his stuff not be sold overseas look
elsewhere. The CCED list (this list) rules are pretty clear about
not offering bootleg anything.
