the file "jerry's power supply .pdf" is located on this groups files
section under circuits\power supplies. i figured out that i just
need to insulate the center tap wire on the secondary and the same
for the second half winding (red wire) on the primary, as i'm setting
it up on 110. if anyone has used this power supply, and added other
features,(soft start/snubber/shunt) i would like to hear about it. i
finished wiring the basic schematic today, but haven't powered it up
yet cuz i don't want to leave the capacitor charged up while i work
with it, and i'm not sure how to discharge it properly. i'm wishin i
had paid more attention in electronics class in school!! i also have
to wire up a test cable to run r990h.exe to test the drive (and my
setup!). the pile of components on the table is slowly coming
together. :)
