I think it would work fine for plasma. I have been a little frustrated on
its automatic use of lead in and lead out because it does not scale
dynamically with the tool. It's just a checkbox to add lead in and lead out
when you assign a path, but the geometry is fixed. When you're using a lead
in on a 1/2" end mill the geometry of a lead in is quite a bit different
than the lead in required with a 1/32" engraving cutter, but Turbocadcam
uses the same for each. Since plasma does not have the same sort of
problem, a generic leadin and leadout geometry would probably work just
fine.
Like everyone else, they do have a free download available.
