Hi Paul,
I still have the same Shared Memory issue for over a year now that went
unresolved. Solution was to stick an old Riva TNT Graphics card in there
that was fully supported by the BDI package.
Now since its been a year (or more...:)) that I've waited, do you by
chance know if they have come up with good drivers for the VIA chipset w/
C3 processor??
The EPIA board that I have has some superior 3D graphics w/ Windows but
Linux drivers werent released at that time.

Since it has 1 - PCI slot onboard I'm stuck w/ using the video card on
there but I "NEED" that slot for a second Parallel Port to drive more
Bridgeport CNC options. Any ideas for a solution? Or even better, Does
BDI currently support VIA now??

Some great people on this list helped me in the past and even created a
nifty Step-by-Step PDF file for me to follow but after trying Every
alternative driver to see if it would work the best resolution I could get
was '200x320' (rediculously low res).

Several others have asked about this same issue w/ the VIA chipset. It
would be nice to get a solution. I'd be willing to compile and
debug/errorlog it with someone if they could help.
I've come a LONG LONG way with Linux and EMC compiling packages and with a
patient person could help to develop support for VIA if its not already
available. Let me know.?? :O
