Not very easy to do. The laptops have integrated display control chips
on the
board that are made to drive the display from the video memory. There
are a few
companies that sell LCD kits that have either a general purpose LCD
driver
board that looks to the software like an ordinary VGA, or a set with a
display
together with the driver board. These kits are not cheap
