One of the problems that you are going to run into is that the regular video output on a PC is an analog signal and the LCD panel
needs digital signals.
There are several possible solutions:
1. The panel might have a built in Analog-Digital converter. This is common on the expensive once that you buy in the store. (I
just bought a ViewSonic VG150 15" 1024x 768, $1000, for a non-CNC application and it is fantastic)
2. There are graphic cards available that will output digital signals for LCD panels.
3. There are external A-D converters available to solve the problem. One company is Digital View, but the converters run about $300
last time I bought one. (About two years ago)
4. Look for an old laptop.
