these guys sell surplus LCDs
unfortunately most of their stuff is OEM but they do list the
manufacturers part numbers so you might be able to find hookup
info on the manufacturers support sites

they also have some CGA to SVGA CRT monitors in the 5 to 9" range

were you more concerned about saving space or
just keeping shop debris out of the monitor?
