I don't understand Jon. I have a peak torque of 600 oz-in
(37.5 in-lb). Are not the commercial retrofits using
about this value as their continuous torque? I was thinking
I need to gear it down to raise my continuous torque, whose
value I do not know.

Also using a heavy belt is bad thing. You want the belt to snap
in the event of a crash.
