I have the motors but have not yet converted the mill. It is
a 1969 variable speed and I am in the process of rebuilding the
entire mill. Probably be back together and running (without
conversion), in about a month. Like I said before, someone on
the list used these same motors on a Rong Fu direct drive and they
said they worked OK, but were at their limit. I figured I would
gear them down 3:1 and give the extra torque to make them work
good on the Bridgeport. I don't think 80 in/min will bother me.
It is still a Shi* load better than turning the cranks by hand!
