If it is 3-phase, you can run it off a modern VFD that goes that high in
frequency.
You generally need series inductors (reactors in that trade) for the VFD to
run properly. A number of VFDs can now go to 400 Hz, which will get you
24,000 RPM. If you want 54,000 RPM you need about 950 Hz.
AC Tech makes a special model that will go to 1000 Hz.
